Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, the wholly-owned two-wheeler subsidiary of Japanese major Honda Motor Co, is looking to launch at least two high-end 1,000cc bikes and an advanced 100cc motorcycle in the country by the end of 2008-09, reports Our Bureau from Kolkata.

The two high-end 1,000cc bikes may be priced at over Rs 10 lakh and will target a super-niche segment. Outlining the company’s future plans during the launch of its second 125cc model CBF Stunner, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India president & CEO S Aoyama said: “The new launches, along with the CBF Stunner, is slated to contribute about 10% towards the company’s total turnover during the year.

While CBF Stunner will generate an additional 8% towards the company’s turnover, the other launches will help improve earnings by 2%.
