Suzuki Zeus is likely to be seen in action in Indian Motorsports from September 2007, according to information from The Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), which is the National Sports Federation recognized by the Government of India and that of the International Federation FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocylisme). The FMSCI has prepared a Technical Data Form (TDF) for Suzuki Zeus, a pre-requisite for any 2 wheeler to participate in motorsports, and as per its regulations, this bike can participate in National and National Championship events from 7th September 2007.

It is learnt that Suzuki Zeus would participate in the next round of the Ucal Rolon FMSCI National Road Racing Championship in Chennai Race Track on 15-16 Sep 2007. With TVS & Yamaha already in the fray, Suzuki entering Indian Motorsport has been welcomed by the entire motorsporting fraternity and this would make the competition in road racing intense.

"Suzuki entering the racing field is definitely a good news. With TVS, Yamaha being already there and with Honda also to be in the fray very soon, It is high time that Suzuki also look into the possibility of forming their own team as well, with good riders, to face the stiff competition ahead. On the whole it looks like Indian motorsport particularly racing is poised for a greater heights in the years to come. I wish Suzuki all the very best" said Emmanual Jebaraj, 5 times Indian National Road Racing Champion and who is now keeping the Indian flag flying high in the Malaysian Super Series.
